Ice Ice Baby: How to ice tea.

Ever wondered how we make our ice tea? Seen posts on our social media and thought ‘Sound good, but what do I do’?
Don’t worry we have you covered.

1: Start with your base: Water, soda water or lemonade. Here at Tea Garden we like to use soda water.

2: Grab your fave Tea Garden Co ice tea blend: It Takes Tea To Mango, Sorry Not Sorry, or Prickly Pear.

3: Add the tea leaves to the base.  2 teaspoons per cup. We add roughly 60 grams to the bottle of soda water.

4: Give it a shake or stir and pop it in the fridge. Leave it for at least 8 hours.

5: After leaving it to infuse for 8 hours strain out the leaves. Now you have a yummy concentrate that will last about 4 days in the fridge.

6: Make it your own. Try some lemonade to make it sweeter. Try frozen fruit instead of ice cubes so you don’t loose flavour.

Dont’t like it sweet? No problem try adding some ginger beer.

wan’t to make it adult? Try Gin or Vodka.

REMINDER: Our ice tea blends are herbals with no tea leaves, which means they are wonderfully forgiving. The possibilities are endless, so give your wildest ideas a try.
